Marlana Stoddard Hayes left the practice of oil in 2013 and began on a journey with watermedia. This latest group represents the cycle of flow forms that signal the renewal of spring. Recently she was awarded funding from the Oregon Arts Commission, The Ford Foundation and the Region Arts and Culture Council for her exhibition of Anomalies with A.I.R. Gallery in NYC, as a National Member. Exhibited internationally, she was former adjunct faculty with Marlyhurst University and Portland Community College. She has been summer faculty with the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology for 29 years.
